BRAINFLOW: Neural Dynamics, Cognition and Theory
Research conducted by the BRAINFLOW group is aimed at understanding the multi-scale, spatio-temporal dynamics of brain activity, and the role of such dynamics in cognitive functions, in particular perception and attention. We perform research at the crossroad of theoretical and computational neuroscience, cognitive neuroscience and cognitive psychology. We deploy multiple approaches including computational modeling, neuroimaging (fMRI, EEG, MEG, TMS) and behavioral measures (psychophysics). Part of our efforts also include applications towards innovative neurotechnological tools, in part in collaboration with the TC2N group.
